Truth is, I usually write these posts on my laptop, but I take photos on my phone and it’s a bit of a pain in the nethers getting photos across … so I don’t.

But now I promise to reform, and give you snappy snaps that you might have seen in Instagram but which never made it here. These are from my trip to Cumbernauld as a judge for the Scottish Association of Writers’ conference.

Beautiful scenery, awesome food. I looked like a haggis by the time I got home!
